Online reservation hours

Available 24 hours. Reservations open on the 1st of each month at 10:00 am three months prior to the departure date. If the 1st falls on a Saturday, Sunday, or national holiday, reservations will open at 10:00 am on the following business day. (Example: tickets for July 28th → reservations open on April 1st at 10:00 am) Reservations close ten days before the departure date.

At the time of reservation, your reservation will be “tentative." After the tentative reservation, we will send a brochure and money transfer notice. Please pay the required fee before the designated deadline.
The reservation will be finalized when we confirm the payment. After the payment is complete, we will send your ticket and final travel schedule around seven days prior to your departure date. If we are unable to confirm the payment until the deadline, your reservation will be canceled.

Weekdays from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm (unavailable on Sat. Sun. and holidays). Reservations open on the 1st of each month three months prior to the departure date. Important Notices and Information

All seats are reserved. Smoking is strictly prohibited on the train.
There is space on Car No.1 to store one wheelchair. Passengers who will be using a wheelchair, please notify us when you make your reservation. Our employees will assist passengers who require support when getting on and off the train.
Pets other than guide dogs are not allowed on the train.
Various drinks are sold on the train.
Your desired reservation date may be unavailable, depending on the reservation status.
Passengers may not get off the train before the final destination.
Minimum passenger count: Eight people

Travel Conditions

Agent-Organized Tour Contract
1. “The Story of 13000 Feet" is a tour planned and organized by Ainokaze Toyama Railway (hereafter, “the Company"). Guests participating in this tour shall conclude an Agent-Organized Tour Contract with the Company.
2. The brochure, reservation confirmation provided upon reservation and the final travel schedule provided before the departure will specify the contents and conditions of the Agent-Organized Tour Contract.
Tour Reservation and Finalization of Contract
1. Guests must fill in the application form and submit it together with the application fee. The application fee will be treated as part of or all of the tour price, cancellation fee, and penalty.
2. The Company accepts reservations via the Internet, telephone, or other communication methods. The contract is not in effect as of the reservation. The finalization of the contract occurs after the guest pays the application fee within the designated deadline, and the Company receives the payment. If the guest fails to pay the application fee within the deadline, the Company will cancel the application.
3. The Agent-Organized Tour Contract will be put into effect when the Company agrees that the contract has been finalized and receives the application fee stipulated in section (2) above.
4. The tour contract of reservations made on the Internet will be put into effect when the Company sends the notification of the finalization. If acceptance notices are sent electronically using e-mail, etc., the contract will be put into effect when said notification has reached the guest.
Payment of Tour Price

The guest must pay the tour price 14 days or more before the departure date.
Cancellation of Tour

If the number of participating guests does not reach the minimum passenger count indicated in the brochure, the Company may cancel the tour. In that case, the guest will be contacted three days or more before the departure date and receive a full refund of the tour price.
Items Included/Not Included in the Tour Price
1. Transportation fees and charges, meal expenses, welcome drink fees indicated in the itinerary in the brochure, and the relevant consumption and other taxes are included.
2. The above expenses shall not be refunded even if the guest opts to decline the usage of a portion of the services.
3. Transportation fees and expenses not indicated in the itinerary, as well as the guest’s personal expenses, are not included in the tour price.

Travel Contract Cancellation by the Guest (Cancellation Fee)

If the guest opts to cancel after the finalization of the travel contract due to personal reasons, they must pay the cancellation fee indicated below per person.

The cancellation date shall be the date that the guest requests the cancellation on the Company's business day during business hours.
If the guest opts to change the departure date, course, or number of persons participating, the cancellation fee will be applied to the total travel cost.

Handling of Personal Information
1. Your personal information will be used for the following purposes: 1. for contacting the guest, 2. for making arrangements or providing services related to transportation and/or food and beverages, 3. for the necessary procedures related to the tour, 4. for undertaking any formalities necessary to obtain insurance to protect against any costs arising out of the Company's responsibilities under the Travel Contract, and 5. providing information on products, services, campaigns, and tours of the Company and companies affiliated with the Company.
2. To achieve items 2. and 3. indicated in the previous section, the Company may provide the guest's name, address, and phone number to the necessary locations.
3. Of the guest's personal information, the company will use the guest’s name, address, phone number, E-mail address, and other contact information to announce campaigns and to improve the Company's services.
Reference Date for Travel Conditions and Tour Price

The reference date of the travel conditions and the tour price are based on the effective fare and rules effective as of January 1,2023.

From Tokyo to Toyama: Hokuriku Shinkansen, approx. 2 hours 9 minutes.
From Osaka to Toyama: JR Hokuriku Line Limited Express “Thunderbird” (Osaka to Tsuruga) and Hokuriku Shinkansen (Tsuruga to Toyama), approx. 2 hours 35 minutes.
From Nagoya to Toyama: Tokaido Shinkansen (Nagoya to Maibara), JR Hokuriku Line Limited Express “Shirasagi” (Maibara to Tsuruga) and Hokuriku Shinkansen (Tsuruga to Toyama), approx. 2 hours 35 minutes.

By plane

From Tokyo to Toyama: An approx. 1-hour flight (Haneda Airport to Toyama Kitokito Airport), approx. 30 minutes by bus. (Toyama Kitokito Airport to Toyama Station)
